Five upcoming wood and timber related events will take place in October in Europe and the UK

October will we a month full of events related to wood and timber. The first one, the Timber Expo, will be held from Tuesday 05 to Thursday 07 in Birmingham, UK. The Timber Expo will feature the latest products, innovations, and developments across the timber sector in the international market. It covers a breadth of timber applications from timber frame, sawmills, merchants, glulam, SIPs, CLT, fixings and fastenings, timber cladding, doors/windows, moldings, skirtings, and flooring.

The Timber Industry & Forest Resources Management Fair will take place in Kielce, Poland, from Friday 08th to Sun 10th October. In this industry-oriented fair several dozen machines that will facilitate everyday work in forest enterprises will be shown. The exhibition collects the latest tools and devices for obtaining, transporting, and processing of wood.

The 69th International Softwood Conference (ISC) will be a hybrid Conference taking place in Helsinki on 13-14 October. The conference will be organized by hosting Finnish Sawmills Association (FSA), the European Timber Trade Federation (ETTF) and the European Organisation of the Sawmill Industry (EOS).
